I am a reformed lifelong Republican. Big Biden supporter. I support Israel & their right to defend themselves. I also abhor the indefensible slaughter of innocent people in Gaza. A MAGA colleague of mine defended Israel’s actions in Gaza, saying that Hamas is embedded in the civilian population & that civilian casualties are just the way it has to be. I argue that if you can’t figure out who is/isn’t a member of Hamas, the only way to “eliminate” Hamas is to totally wipe out everyone in Gaza.
