I hate the disrespect that neurodivergent people receive in the interviewing phase in employment... I have autism and have had 40+ interviews and in most of them explaining my experience with pride because I felt I was becoming better by learning on the job, has been seen by interviewers as "cocky, know it all, and elitist..." and all of a sudden "I'm not a good fit..." makes me feel worthless
