I’m going to go out on a limb and have a crazy prediction; Microsoft announces their handheld as the XBox SteamDeck, a joint release with Valve that plays GamePass and Steam Store games. It gets SteamDecks into more homes with a retail partner, and it allows Microsoft to offset their risk by partnering up with an equal partner vs. going head to head with a Nintendo Switch successor that they’re almost assuredly going to get destroyed by.
