In high school, a school mate once said to me “you’re not black, you’re Jamaican”. Sadly, that same ignorance is still out there today. I was watching a clip of a conversation, and a young lady told Laz Alonso that he was not black, he is Cuban. I think it sad that in today’s world, people still don’t understand the difference between race and nationality.
