The amount of people who became professional coaches this past decade + who offer near zero value is unreal. Given that experience absolutely helps when offering value as coach, it's clear this isn't a widely shared understanding. My work persona routinely gets pitched coaching services by people I wouldn't trust to wash my car let alone coach an executive. A lot of these coaches don't seem to have managed their own career very well and it amazes me how little commentary there has been on this.
