As my morning went on, the song “Girl on Fire” by AK popped into my head and decided to listen to the full album , I hadn’t listened to it fully in like 10 years. I was moved. I felt motivated. A fire ignited inside and I knew I needed to stop playing and share my gifts with the world. (This is that): the album is about emerging as the new “you” , a powerful one.

Block out the noise, don’t worry about who won’t understand. The song that stood out the most: “Listen to Your Heart.” Self-explanatory. Nicki’s verse on the GOF remix: “make the fear disappear when they stare God; take away my fear when they interfere God..” she started the verse with a subtle tone and by the end, it was like she got her voice back!
