So every year on my birthday I calculate how much money I will make over the rest of my working life. I will be quitting my full time work at age 67. Paying social security will be there. So on each of these years the amount I will make for the rest of my life was in the 1.5 to 2.5 million range. Only for a short period in the early 2000’s do I remember it being over that. As my birthday nears, I realize it has dropped lower than how much my first job would have earned over my entire life.
