I’m relieved at the verdict and feel hope, sadness and despair all at the same time. How did it come to this? How is it that so many Americans will still support this guy? I’ve read and heard Black Americans say they love the country for what it could be, not what it is, despite the country not loving them back. I get that sadness and hope, especially today. We have a long road to purge this man and the evil in our own society that created him. The storm is not over.
