When I worked in my first 3 books, I had no idea what the pro editor process should look like. So when I found it frustrating, I assumed edits were always that way. Record scratch to Book 4, with a new editor who stepped into the breach (in the middle of a series!) & I am so incredibly grateful to have found @kaitlin.slowik.editing. She literally changed me from dreading the process to enjoying it. I felt so seen. Do edits frustrate you or excite you?
