So basically, he gives the uneducated, the self-victimisers and the racists/bigots/homophobes validation in their hatred. That’s pretty much it. He’s a roll model for other gross humans that want to be seen as superior for no reason, he tells them that they’re right and they love hearing it. Even though their lives will be worse off under Trump, they’re trauma bonded to him and will go wherever. It would simply be sad if it wasn’t damaging large populations of people in the US.
