I’m ecstatic that Trump was convicted, but am still very concerned by the rhetoric it’s spurred concerning felons in general. “He’s a felon, now he has all his rights stripped away 😃” and “why would you ever believe anything a felon has to say” and other posts along these lines are concerning. Convicts are human beings who are already placed in abysmal conditions, and it’s a genuine political issue. Let’s not stoop to viewing convicts as less than human just because it helps your narrative
