I have had the great privilege of having mourning doves take over last year’s robin’s nest over my door. This is the 2nd brood this year. The parents share responsibility and sit on the nest 24/7. When the eggs hatch they feed the babies by regurgitating a milk like substance they make in their throats. Nature is so cool!😎
