They aren’t if you’re able to be flexible. Search for deals daily and fly where the deals are. currently in Buenos Aires, and got here from Bogota for $200 one way. Flew to bogota 2 weeks prior for $190 from Los Angeles. If you’re opportunistic, flights are dirt cheap. If you’re limited in time and only want to go to 1 place, chances are everyone else does too.
