This is me crossing the finish line of my first ever 5k yesterday. My time was 48:47 and I finished 227th out of 276 men, 31st out of 38 in my age bracket (40-49). Those numbers don’t paint the whole picture. A year ago I might have been able to finish in an hour, maybe a little over. Two years ago probably 1hr and 45 mins. Four years ago I wouldn’t have even attempted it. I was 457lbs and was headed the wrong way fast. Thankfully I’m on track to better health now! 😤💪🏻🔥 Weight loss
