Just listened to a string quartet piece on the radio for 5 minutes and I feel like I’m 5% dumber now. I think it is a piece only a synthesizer should play. Everyone knows I’m a big champion for composers today, and I encourage composers to talk to and work with players, find out what they like, what they can make a beautiful phrase with, do they feel emotionally connected. Don’t write a piece not only AI can write, but only interesting enough for AI to play. Emotions, people!
