I phoned in the last few scenes but goddammit the draft is done, all 402 pages. I didn't think I'd sob at the end because I cried so much the whole time LOL But a lot of unexpected stuff came up during the process. I didn't expect loneliness & friendship to be such huge parts of the story. I didn't think it'd take me til 31 to finish a dang book DRAFT. But here we are. It's the groundwork of a story my kid-self would love. *sigh* Axle & his friends (and me) can rest til autumn. ✌️🎃
