Sometimes, parents of special needs children introduce their kid as "anak sy cp, anak sy autism, or down syndrome etc". This felt wrong by our therapist and he would correct the parents immediately. Anak u ada nama dan dia di diagnosed as cp/autism/ds. Dont define your kid by their diagnosis. Your kid is a person having a bit of a condition. To which i totally agree, just like when u describe a child as malas, tak pandai, tak boleh buat apa. That hurts
