It’s Father’s Day and I’m definitely in a place of internal conflict. My father intentionally walked away from me and his duties as a father when I was a teenager. The wound he left still stings… still oozes… still brings me to tears sometimes. And yet, I am happy for those whose fathers took their role in their lives seriously. What a complicated day. For those who would call it happy, Happy Father’s Day. For those who wouldn’t, I am grieving and angry with you ❤️
