This is not really a dish but a my childhood treat used to be jimaca powder then you poor a little bit of hot water and sugar, stir until it became a thick, slime-like mixture

Mine is probably silkworm pupae (con tằm). My mom often found it at a local market, she would stir fry it and season with typical Viet seasonings like msg, fish sauce, bouillon power. It tasted kinda powdery and rich, not bad.
