Have a 2.5 year old and 5 year old and I'm at expat so have travelled loads with both, sometimes even alone, usually connecting flights and have had lots of delays and all sorts. Honestly - my main advice don't worry. It's all very temporary and you'll get through it. If there are two of you just take turns - swap every 20 minutes. Lots of finger food. And if they cry - don't worry. Babies, toddlers, children are allowed to exist!
