Went to vote. Took my 16 year old. I wore a pride T-shirt, I look younger than 49. He has long hair and wears a brick in the wall jacket. Our area is Tory. Might be relevant. 3 older people on the desk. One looks up, sneers and asks for my ID. I hand it over. “I don’t like this photo” “Well it’s my official license, same photo as my passport” “Hrrmph, well I’d be happier with another photo” “Well the passport office and DVLA disagree and it’s obviously me” Sneers again. Passes me my slip 1/2

She looked me up and down, checked it again and said in a very loud voice "I prefer your hair now, it doesn't suit you on that picture." Well, thanks for the vote of confidence, but that was the pre-menopausal me and I'm more comfortable in myself now than I ever was then! Ps Polling woman, mind your own business and keep your opinions to yourself luv!
