Tonight I said goodbye to framily for nth time in the two years I’ve lived as a somewhat nomad, going where the need is. Tomorrow I’ll drive across country to help a friend build her startup. In a few months, I’ll assist another friend in Maine who lost her home to fire and is rebuilding. Starting fresh, adding on, holding a hand, cooking, cleaning - while not on my resume are some of the most rewarding skills I’ve added to my portfolio thanks to those who welcome me in and send me on my way.
