Grocery shopping in Germany: the shopping cart has a built-in scanner terminal. You hold your purchases in front of the scanner (produce scales print a barcode label) and put them into the cart. When done, you tap a “pay” button on the screen and it will display a QR code. At the register, you scan the code, tap your card and leave. Fancy!
