Oncology—specifically RadOnc. All nurses make a difference every day but it feels particularly true in oncology. In radiation oncology you can see patients go from 10/10 pain to pain free in a matter of days and/or come back for follow up year after cancer free year, when they thought they were dying. Added bonus? Access to a lead lined vault in caae of a nuclear emergency. 😀

Wellness nurse. Just a very easy and repetitive thing. I don’t like the unexpected too much

ICU… besides the cliche of “helping others” I love the critical thinking/problem solving aspect, hands on skills, autonomy (titrating vasoactive drips, sedation, etc) and of course adrenaline rushes.

Pediatrics. Can’t ever imagine working with adult patients. Kids are so much more fun. The losses can be hard though.
