I have so far not really figured out what Threads is for, at least for myself. Twitter / X is a cesspool of toxicity with the occasional E-girl / oF girl promoting their 'pay for parasocial' schemes. Instagram used to be about photography, especially of the high quality variety and now it's also going in that direction, always pushing it to the limit of what is allowed while quality and artist photography gets drowned in the massive flood.
