I just kinda go for it, tbf most of the time it’s easier to sit down and sketch random people on the subway, but especially if it’s someone you are familiar with I don’t usually find people to be against modelling (perhaps I just chose well though) Another easy way to draw people is search if there are any live figure drawing sessions in your area, it’s usually cheap
