I hate to admit it, but Trump’s “blizzard of lies” debate tactic was much more effective than Biden’s “lost in the blizzard” response. Any way you slice it, though, Biden didn’t look good. His raspy voice was distracting, he lost his train of thought a couple of times, he started dozens of sentences with “The idea… “ instead of a standard transition, and he didn’t spend nearly enough time fact-checking Trump. I hope the White House has some of that State-of-the-Union-meth sitting around.
