According to newspaper El País this is the evolution of house rental prices since 2011. This is the main reason of protests against tourism, not tourist-hate. Second picture taken by me in Madrid centre 1 month ago. It’s not that people don’t like tourism, the problem is unregulated opportunism is negative for the social and economic structures just there. I guess any city about 30-40 min by car or public transportation from these cities will be more positive minded towards same phenomena.
