My ex boyfriend was homeless for 2 years before we met…I mean homeless outside on the streets of California. The most mind blowing thing is that he WANTED to live outside. He enjoyed it. But he needed someone to come and talk to him and convince him he needed to live inside and get help for his schizophrenia. It is sad because most have mental illness and are paranoid to live inside.
