You realize when you’re married your last name and your husband last name are the same last name and your child will have that same last name right? It’s not abnormal and honestly if you’re not married that’s even more reason for your child’s last name to be yours.

If the father isn’t present during your pregnancy I believe the mother should give her unborn her last name. My child have my last name and my child father is ok with me passing my last name down. Especially, not being married🤷‍♀️ things happen.
