This is the weirdest off-season ever.
In Kent, the name Ramsgate Athletic has resurfaced after 52 years, as a team in the Kent County league premier. And just played a friendly against Ramsgate of the Usthmian League who were originally Ramsgate Athletic.
And on Teesside, the place I used to play five-a-side forty years ago, Grangetown Boys’ Club, are today playing their first ever game in the Northern Football League division two.
What next? Middlesbrough Ironopolis reform?
