One time I made a world where magic behaved how the user expected it to behave. So most traditions grew around standard failures, standard languages etc. and are stable. But wizards are *scientists*. They expect the possibility of counterproof of their current theory. Hell, they may hope for it even. And that s why all magic users hate wizards.
