Had a garage sale today selling 30 yrs of memories/things. Retiring & moving! My ego got the best of me when I was selling for less than what I wanted in my head. But when I saw the immense joy of these ppl’s faces, I felt shame! Shame bc of my white privilege. Reminding myself that those boots will keep someone’s feet warm this winter. $100’s Rae Dunn kitchen item made a woman giggle! I told each & everyone i met today: my hope is for them to feel the joy in their lives as it did mine!
