The drive to this place is an adventure in itself. It’s a must for a high clearance vehicle 4WD because of the deep sand (which is worse than mud). After the very bumpy ride, we arrived to see these otherworldly rock formations with swirling patterns of white and red sandstone, resembling waves frozen in time, and created over millions of years through a combination of tectonic activity, erosion, and weathering.
