It looks like many Americans are going to happily bid goodbye to their cherished democracy in November. This picture (taken from Margaret Astwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale) is likely no exaggeration. Pornography will be criminalised. Civil liberties including Affirmative Action and LBTQ protections will be abolished, among many other things. This is what they will be voting in.
