The woman at our polling station checked my photo ID (a 8yr old driving licence taken when I was 2 stone lighter and used to dye my hair). She looked me up and down, checked it again and said in a very loud voice "I prefer your hair now, it doesn't suit you on that picture." Well, thanks for the vote of confidence, but that was the pre-menopausal me and I'm more comfortable in myself now than I ever was then!
