There is a tendency to assume fighting for women’s equality is no longer necessary. Yesterday there was celebration over having our first woman chancellor. In the year 2024 that should not be a thing! Note still a male PM and First ministers in Scotland and Wales. America are still waiting for female president and arguing over two elderly, white men. But keep banging on about us getting privacy in a toilet! ffs.
