Two books and a great long - and still growing - list of solo travel adventures.

I spent 12 years at the same level in my business through lack of confidence, then empty nest syndrome drove me to think differently. Six months ago I got promoted to Director level at the age of 52. So proud of myself and loving my new job.

I wrote my first novel when I was 11 with a pen and paper. I came home everyday after school and wrote until supper time. Ì mailed it to a publisher who kindly returned it with a hand written note telling me to keep on writing. So I did. At 58 after years of writing in different genres, I found my voice and self published my first teen fiction novel. Its never too late to realize a dream. 11 year old me would be proud. indieauthors .

Cycled the Ring of Kerry, a 170km cycle, aged 57. Had always been rubbish at sport so that was a good feeling. Have written a novel, next challenge is to get it out into the world.

Went to grad school and received my Masters at 57. Retired at 59 - because I could. I'm grateful for all the opportunities I had in my career.

I started writing, became an Empty Nest Coach and launched the Midlife Momma Podcast!!
