As the majority, at least of Europe if not the whole world, lurches alarmingly to the hard right, Britain lurches to the soft (but hey, we'll take it) left. It took 14 horrible years to get there: 14 years of sleaze, entitlement, cronyism, scapegoating, corruption, 'austerity' and ultimately ineptitude.. but we got there. As Professor Brian Cox famously assured us many moons ago, things can only get better. 🤘
