looking at the picture and reading through the article, it looks like major compromises had to be made in order to do this. the front trunk was removed to make room for the radiator, and it looks like the rear trunk and passenger seats are being taken up by the diesel engine and fuel tank, meaning you're sacrificing all of your storage space and turning your 5 passenger car into a 2 passenger (or maybe even 1 passenger) car to achieve this feat... longer range doesn't always mean more efficient
