Many replies to this question highlight how toxic and un-nuanced the fitness/diet culture still is and it seems many have internalised it and want to attack others, it always comes back to the same thing for me: Being nasty is obviously not a nice thing, but it also *does not work* for lasting behaviour changes. Compassion for yourself and others is the best place to start when trying to make behaviourial changes.
