I’ve been rewatching the modern Monsterverse movies so I could watch the new Kong vs. Godzilla that came out recently and I’ve been having a great time. I last saw Godzilla: King of the Monsters in theatres and these movies are truly made for the big screen. I had such a good time watching that one originally and I’m sad I haven’t been able to have the same experience with these more recent ones which didn’t even make it to theatres in my area. 2/?

幾秒內	Teagan Beemer teaofgan	Are they high art? Absolutely not but sometimes it’s just fun to watch a corny movie with two monsters beating each other up with spectacular special effects. And I think half the experience of them is watching them on a big screen and we’re losing something here by constantly having them release to streaming so quickly & giving them a limited run because of that. 3/?

I agree about these Kong/Godzilla movies just being popcorn fun films for the big screen and I wish everyone got to see them that way! Seeing Godzilla vs. Kong on the big screen was so fun for me and might be why that movie is my favorite of the bunch!
