ICYMI Pennsylvania students have spoken…again. I didn’t know it was nominated, nor that students were reading it. I learned about it all (whilst sobbing) on the phone with my editor. Adult readers drive half if not more of YA book sales, popularity, awards, etc. But I write to reach the hearts and minds of TEENS, so this award means everything to me. I’ll be in Hershey in December to accept this award and give remarks and I hope I can get through my speech without crying. 😩🤞🏾Bookthreads
