If I ask for a fantasy book recommendation and you suggest to me a fantasy romance, I don’t care who you are, I will block you and report you some kind of authority... I’m not a booktok girly, I do not read heterosexual romance. Unless the person who is asking you for a book recommendation is asking for a romance novel, stop suggesting romance novels even if they fit into the genre they’re asking for. It’s obnoxious.
