Kudos.to voters in France who overcame partisan issues to unite against the existential threat facing us all, the spread of right-wing extremism. The rallying cry needs to be broadcast in the US and Canada. We must unite and fight for freedom and against authoritarian rule; for equity and against racism/sexism; to support those in need and prevent the hoarding of wealth by a few; for our children and grandchildren and against the destruction of the institutions built to govern just societies.
