I’m not hiding in denial. I know he’s not doing well. The time will come pretty soon that I have to make a painful decision. Yet today he went for a short walk. Took his meds and I think the painkillers have him smiling a bit. He’s resting peacefully. For today he’s still here on this plane, and soon he will rest peacefully elsewhere. But today he is smiling, and that’s all that matters to me.
