I'd also like to add, it is a sign of a good author if they are able to write a well rounded believable character that elicitates emotions in readers, flaws and nuance included. No matter the age group or genre, can we please stop villianizing and writing off/dragging characters for making decisions that are 100% human even if we don't agree with them or wouldn't make them ourselves?
