I worked flat pool as a PCA so I saw it all and got to narrow it down pretty quickly. I hated Neurology it was hard, but tell me why it was the first floor to offer me a job I couldn’t pass up… so now I’m in a toxic relationship with Nuero/ENT/Plastics & loving it 🥰

I didn’t stay at a job more than a year until I tried different specialities and my favorite is correctional nursing and pediatrics been a nurse for 7 years

I work as a CNA in the hospital and I found my love for the ER! Used to be OB but now I rather deal with the fast pace environment! 🥰

I tried them all lol. I went with what was a great for my family and mental health, and then let everything else (schedule, pay, benefits, growth opportunities) follow. Most importantly, I trusted my gut when something felt right or wrong. Make sure you shadow on off shifts, not just when it’s full staffed and management is available.
