Come back to them with good reason as to why your work is worth more, if they can’t see that then they clearly don’t care about you and your work as a creator. Then simply turn it down! I have had is so many times and I know how frustrating it can be when you really like the brand but straight away I can see from the email they basically want you to work for free! “You’ll receive FREE products worth $80+” as if you should be thanking them… you need the products to create any content for them??

I’m back 🥰 - if you did want to work with them since they are a start up you could offer less conent for example one instagram post with no re-sharing, no ads, no boost etc for $200 or so, whatever feels right to you. I think they should understand that although they may not have a big budget, that doesn’t automatically mean that the creator should lower their rates significantly. I also think a lot of ‘small’ brands try this as a tactic. Meeting half way seems like a fair alternative.
