I guess I can understand the logic that you need a VP who can lock in a needed state. And maybe I can squint and agree that for some people, a whole lot of change is harder to accept that some change. But Scranton Joe was losing in Pennsylvania. He was failing as a communicator. So wouldn’t it make sense to consider the best communicator for the VP role? And does Pete really have any competition on that score?
There are many great options. But I think that Pete could be the best of them.
